What exactly does a real estate broker do? A broker will supervise agents with less experience to effectively run real estate offices. Many brokers own the firms they work in, others work with national real estate franchises, banks, or government agencies. Brokers have high levels of knowledge and/or experience in the areas of advanced real estate practice, law, finance, appraisal, economics, property management, escrow, and/or real estate office administration.  What kinds of jobs can a broker qualify for? Brokers may work for themselves, or be a part of a larger organization, such as a national franchise, lender, or government agency. Why should I take a distance education course instead of a live class? Distance education allows you to take the class when YOU HAVE THE TIME!
