Allied's Broker Qualification Courses are available online or through traditional correspondence. All courses have been reviewed and approved by the Department of Real Estate (D.R.E.). Click here to view all requirements.

Applicants must have successfully completed the college-level courses below before taking the state exam. If you have college experience you may have already completed some of the courses listed below. REQUIRED (You must enroll in ALL of the following courses)

• Real Estate Practice (DRE Approval #1521-94) - Focuses on the real world of California real estate practices. (Course code 10-RE-PRACTICE)
• Legal Aspects of Real Estate (DRE Approval #1382-93) - Provides a useful reference guide for the laws and regulations surrounding real estate. (Course code 10-RE-LEGALASPECT)
• Real Estate Finance (DRE Approval #2011-04) - Provides a solid foundation of basic finance, and expands into areas such as the mortgage market, appraisals, and more. (Course code 10-RE-FINANCE)
• Real Estate Appraisal (DRE Approval #1879-02) - Covers current California appraisal techniques and standards. (Course code 10-RE-APPRAISAL)
• Real Estate Economics (DRE Approval #1728-98) - Covers a wide range of real estate economic topics. (Course code 10-RE-ECONOMICS)

ELECTIVE (You need to enroll in THREE of the following courses)

• Real Estate Principles (DRE Approval #1523-94) - Teaches essential real estate terms, theories and concepts. (Course code 10-RE-PRIN)
• Property Management (DRE Approval #1690-97) - Covers property management concepts from analysis to acquisition. (Course code 10-RE-PROPMGMT)
• Escrow (DRE Approval #1670-97) - Includes proven procedures and explanations for the escrow process. (Course code 10-RE-ESCROW)
• Real Estate Office Administration (DRE Approval #1520-94) - Focuses on starting and managing a brokerage business. (Course code 10-RE-OFFICEADMIN)

Please note that additional classes meet the California broker requirements, including: General Accounting, Business Law, Mortgage Loan Brokering and Lending, Advanced Legal Aspects of Real Estate, Advanced Real Estate Finance, and Advanced Real Estate Appraisal.
